Development of the Drin Basin Flood risk management policy is almost completed!

The Drin Basin sits in the south-east of the Balkan Peninsula with water bodies and watersheds spread across Albania, Greece, Kosovo*, Montenegro and North Macedonia. The Drin Basin extends in a large part of the Western Balkans (nearly 19 000 km2); it is populated by more than 1,6 million people effected by severe floods
